This place was very clean and the room was nice and cozy. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was pretty much the same as other motels/hotels. I would go back. They were a little pricey but that is typical for summer.
Hidden gem of a place. Close enough to the tourist trap of mackinaw city. Inexpensive, super clean, quiet. Great restaurants local Gem.
The only reason I put 3 stars for service is due to the fact you can't ever get the girl the works evening shift to talk to. I believe she's a ghost but on the positive side manager is amazing we are staying here due to work for the winter she went above and beyond her duties. But the best part is today we left for work at 5 am came back late in the evening and our bathroom completely cleaned and stocked without asking and I happened to leave all my money on the counter and every dime was left. I felt amazed that my money was still there so thank you for your hospitality but your honesty as well.
So inexpensive we were worried about what we would get. What we got was everything a much more expensive hotel would give us but for about half the cost! We got a clean and comfortable room, friendly staff, and a full breakfast bar with pancakes and sausage. Would definitely book here again.
Room was neat and clean. My wife complained that the bed was too hard, but my weak back needs a stiff bed. Staff were super helpful. One thing to note, it sits right across the street from the local Regional Airport which can handle small jets and there could be some jet engine noise. There is a free continental breakfast in the morning. There is an indoor pool...I think it closes at 11pm. For last minute items you might need there is a Family Dollar store a bit down the road.
Had large group overnight. Stayed up in lobby area til late. No issues. Nice pool & hot tub.
We loved the room. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Bathroom was very clean but the towels were rather small and thin. Pool and whirlpool were well maintained. Breakfast bar was very clean and the offerings were basic. It was cereal, oatmeal, bread/bagel, hard boiled eggs. Pancake machine wasn't working. No fruit offered. Vending machines were out of order. Bring your own snacks! The lobby is comfortable and the fireplace was nice. We will come back again.
Love going here for swimming since I live close by. The pool isn't even cold like normal pools! We always have a good time.
